The challenge? Making high-yield DeFi products intuitive and low-friction, while integrating complex third-party SDKs behind the scenes.

We partnered with their team end-to-end to develop everything from the main site and dashboard to the custom staking and DEX interfaces.

As Ape Terminal’s full-stack product partner, we led everything from early product strategy to UI design and full platform development across three major areas:

Launchpools & Staking Platform: We designed and built a clean, retail-friendly experience for staking stablecoins and earning token rewards. Using Spool’s SDK as a base, we extended its functionality and created an intuitive back-office system for managing launchpools.

Perpetual DEX Integration: We crafted a streamlined trading experience with Ape Terminal’s unique branding, using Orderly Network’s SDK as a foundation. Despite SDK limitations, our team implemented custom components and flows to deliver a seamless Perp DEX experience inside the dashboard.

DeFi Subdomain & Dashboard: We designed a cohesive UI system that brought together staking, trading, and portfolio tracking in one place. The result is a sleek, mobile-friendly dashboard that makes complex DeFi actions feel simple. The main site supports this with clean marketing pages to onboard and educate users.

Integrating third-party SDKs like Spool and Orderly presented several gaps and limitations. To ensure a smooth launch, we worked directly with the Spool team to improve their SDK and add essential functionality. Our team also implemented custom solutions on top of Orderly’s toolkit to meet Ape Terminal’s branding and UX requirements without compromise.

Throughout the process, we delivered a thoughtful UI and seamless user experience—backed by reliable backend architecture and admin tools to keep operations running smoothly.
